Mysore
   Mysore, the city of palaces, is a popular travel destination in South India. Also called Mysooroo, the city was earlier the capital of the Wodeyar rulers. The Wodeyar rulers were great patrons of art and culture, which you can see in the rich heritage of the city. Besides its numerous palaces and royal buildings, Mysore city is also known for proximity to several other places of interest such as Srirangapatna, Krishna Raj Sagra dam and Sivasamudram falls.
Bangalore
   The enchanting city of Bangalore in Karnataka occupies a place of prominence on the Indian map because of its varicolored gardens and monuments. Mangalore
   Mangalore is an important port city located on the west coast of India in Karnataka, one of the major South Indian states. Mangalore has served as an important port in ancient India, and references to this old city can be found from records of 8th century. Tourism in Mangalore is an important contributor to the overall economy of the region, which is predominantly dependent on many large industries and port related occupations.
Udupi
   Located about 60km from Mangalore, the pilgrimage town of Udupi was the abode of Madhavacharya, the renowned Sanskrit philosopher and scholar. The Krishna Temple, founded by the famous 13th-century Vaishnava teacher Madhava, is the major sacred site in Udupi.
